Contributed Oral & Poster Abstract Submission
To ensure presentations are scheduled in the General or Poster Sessions, abstracts should be submitted by July 1, 2018. Should more oral presentation abstracts be received than will fit the time currently allotted to the General Sessions, the program will be expanded to allow more than one concurrent session.
While 30-minute oral or poster presentations dealing with the Conference theme "Integrating One Health Clinical Practice & Biosecurity into Aquatic Veterinary Education" are acceptable, presentations that deal with the following are encouraged:
· aquatic veterinary environmental stewardship & medicine;
· current or future education initiatives to educate & train aquatic veterinarians;
· useful or interesting clinical techniques and clinical cases in aquatic veterinary medicine; and,
· issues related to diagnosing, preventing, controlling and eradicating aquatic animal diseases (biosecurity).
Abstract Submission Process & Selection
By submitting an abstract, you agree to have it published in the Proceeding of this conference. Abstracts will be reviewed by the program committee to fit the daily program session schedule. Speakers will be informed of the day and time for their presentation on, or about August 1, 2018.
The primary author (speaker) of all abstracts accepted for oral or poster presentation will receive a discount code for registration to the General Session (Friday-Saturday). As we intend to seek AAVSB-RACE approval for oral General Session presentations, speakers will be requested to provide brief biographical information.
Speakers submitting abstracts for oral presentations which we are unable to fit into daily General Session schedules will be given the option to present a poster.
All abstracts must adhere to the following Abstract Format Guidelines.
To ensure inclusion in the General or Poster Sessions, and the Conference Proceedings, all abstracts should e-mailed to 2018-StKitts@wavma.org by July 1, 2018.
